About the wine
Juan Luis Cañas is a perfectionist. Everything has to fit perfectly — from the vineyard to the harvest, to the barrel and to the label. Now our favorite Spanish winemaker has launched a new wine, the Cair Cuvée — perfect for every day!
Tasting note
That stays in the memory: Its rich crimson color lends an extravagant touch to any occasion. A fruity red wine with a strong body and distinctive acidity, which unfolds its complex structure in a balanced way with finely developed tannins on the tongue and palate.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team tip: Cair cuvée is ideal with slightly spicy red meat, duck and poultry. Our recommendation: The perfect drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 16°-18°C.
Vinification
A few words about vinification: The vines are 25 years old. The maximum yield is 4500 kg/ ha. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Ageing for 9 months in 60% French barriques and 40% American barriques with an average age of 1-3 years. After that, a minimum of 6 months on the bottle.
