Tasting note
The “bigger brother” of Canforrales Clásico impresses with just as much fruit intensity, with aromas of ripe plums and cherries. The light aging of wood for around three months gives the wine an additional dimension with spicy roasted aromas and only slightly noticeable tannins. A good choice if you don't want the wine to be too heavy. Straightforward with a great price!
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team tip: Goes great with lasagna, red meat and pizza. Our recommendation: The red wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The following period is the ideal enjoyment phase for this wine: 1-5 years after the harvest.
Vinification
A few words about vinification: Selected grapes. Reading is only carried out when the optimal time of sugar content, acidity and polyphenols (tannin, color) has been reached (physiological maturity). Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks followed by ageing in oak barrels for 3 months.
