Tasting note
The nose of this Carmenère has fresh and intense aromas of coffee, cloves, wild blackberry, blueberry and cherry, along with hints of black chocolate. The palate is soft and round, with notes of dark dried fruits, blackcurrant and spicy roasted aromas. This Chilean does not look strained and offers a nice mouthplay with fine, ripe tannins and pleasant acidity. It is worthwhile to carafe the wine before consumption.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The perfect drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The following period is the ideal drinking phase for this wine: 2 to 6 years after the harvest.
