About the wine
With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Portuguese winery Adega da Cartuxa masters this red wine in the sunny and picturesque landscape of the Alentejo. Tasting note
Rich dark ruby red. The delightful combination of red and black berries, especially cassis and raspberry, combines with beautiful oak wood. The body is strongly defined, cassis and blueberry aromas give rise to its tart, fruity character. Cocoa and a hint of pepper give it depth. A long, lingering finish shows how big this wine is.

Vinification
The grapes are destemmed, gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and maceration for 15 days. Ageing: 15 months in new French oak barrels, and 12 months of bottle aging before being released to the market
