About the wine
Characterful Chardonnay with aromas of ripe peaches and pears, herbs in the background. Round and harmonious, but not cheesy or sweet. Perfect with quiche, olives or cheese.
Tasting note
A fresh and elegant white wine that delights with aromas of citrus fruits, green apples and a touch of tropical fruit. On the palate, it shows lively acidity, a balanced texture and a fine minerality that gives it freshness and complexity. The aftertaste is long and harmonious.
Culinary recommendation
It goes perfectly with grilled fish, lobster or shrimp. It is also an excellent choice for creamy pasta dishes, risotto with mushrooms or poultry in creamy sauces. It is also a good addition to cheeses such as brie, camembert or mild gouda.
Vinification
After harvesting, gentle pressing is followed by temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fresh aromas of the grape variety. The wine ages on fine lees for a certain period of time, which gives it additional complexity and creaminess. In some cases, some of the wine can be aged in oak barrels to incorporate additional structure and subtle woody notes.
