Tasting note
Château Les Ormes Sorbet 2020 is deep ruby red. On the nose, aromas of blackcurrants, blackberries and subtle spicy notes develop. On the palate, it shows a harmonious balance between fruit and tannin, with an elegant structure and a persistent finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled meats, game dishes and aged cheeses.
Vinification
The grapes come from the winery's 20-hectare vineyard, which is located on gravel, limestone and clay soils. After selective manual harvesting, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for 16 to 18 months in French oak barrels, 30% of which are new.
