Tasting note
Château Mouton Rothschild 2022 is as radiant as the year it was built. Intense from the start, it reveals concentrated aromas of fresh, fully ripe black fruits with notes of blackcurrants and blackberries, which are subtly underlined by a touch of graphite and cocoa beans. A wine of infinite depth, full-bodied, generous and creamy-soft, extremely elegant and of great purity. Notes of cedarwood, spices and white pepper complete the bouquet. Its complexity, flavor and tannins with their delicate note of licorice seem endless.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with main dishes, red meats.
Vinification
The harvest began at the beginning of September and lasted until the end of the month, with the grapes in perfect health. Although the grapes were rather small due to the hot weather, they offered a rare concentration and balance. This quality was confirmed during the tasting, as the wines revealed an incredible richness without losing their outstanding elegance or the intense expression of their local terroir.
