About the wine
The gravelly, calcareous soils in the north of the city of Bordeaux form the breeding ground for this Cabernet Sauvignon. The winemaker from the French winery Château Talbot knows how to use them and delights us with this red wine. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Cabernet Sauvignon with ribeye steak or Gruyère burger.

Tasting note
It's memorable: its elegant ruby red gives every occasion a special touch. The fruity scent spectrum of fruit compote, spices and tobacco shows a complex aroma character and lots of finesse. The dominant notes of black cherry, black plum and black pepper create their individual texture. A fruity red wine with a strong body and dominant acidity, which harmoniously develops its complex structure with finely developed tannins on the tongue and on the palate. This top wine received the following awards: Wine Advocate: 90; Wine Spectator: 86-89.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Enjoy this red wine at a slightly chilled 18°-20°C. With pizza with mushrooms, ribeye steak and Gruyère burger, recommend Flaschenpöstler.
