In 2015, the Vecchie Terre di Montefili winery found a new owner in Nicola Marzovilla. For Chianti Classico Gran Selezione, she only uses Sangiovese grapes from the oldest vineyards, which have also been cultivated according to organic vine farming rules for over 20 years. The bouquet of the Chianti Classico Gran Selezione is reminiscent of fresh grapes, berries and ripe stone fruit, with a hint of almonds and cinnamon.
