About the wine
With the delicious Conciso, which was produced in 2016, you will definitely have a lot of fun. With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the Portuguese winery Dirk Niepoort masters this red wine in the sunny countryside of Dão.

Tasting note
The wine shows bright, purple hues in the glass. The aromas are intense and complex. Freshness and minerality are revealed, accompanied by notes of wild berries, pepper and cloves. The wine develops in the glass, so we recommend that you decant the wine beforehand. Impressive on the palate, the fruit fresh and the tannins silky. It is a wine that shows a lot of presence, elegance and beautiful freshness — a very pure interpretation of dão, which impresses with beautiful acidity and harmony. The aftertaste is long, profound and delicate.
Vinification
The malolactic fermentation takes place in large wooden barrels. The wine is then aged for 20 months in 2500 liter wooden barrels. Conciso is filled unfiltered.
