About the wine
The dominant Corvina 2011 — Cresasso Veronese IGT redefines nuances and accents. Blooming and fertile landscapes in Veneto give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Zenato conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Corvina is ideal to be served with recent types of cheese or roasts.
Tasting note
Color: ruby red with dark reflections. Aroma: Elegant aromas on the nose, hints of plum jam. Notes of red fruits, cherries and blackberries. Character: Cresasso impresses with its magnificent structure, softness, elegance and silky tannins from the very first sip. The rich aromas and balance result in an endlessly elegant finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with spicy dishes, barbecues, roasts and game. Pleasant with ripe cheese and spicy tomato sauces.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled fermentation, ageing for 18 months in French oak barrels.
