About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it will be this dominant red wine 2018 — Decero Cabernet Franc Mini Ediciones. The winemaker from the Argentinian winery Bodegas Finca Decero masters this red wine with sensitivity and intuition in the enchanting and sunny landscape of Mendoza. Tasting note
Cassis perfume from Argentina. Dark crimson in the glass with purple reflections. On the nose, an exuding cassis perfume, accompanied by aromas of dark chocolate, Havana tobacco and ripe blackberries. Pleasant harmony of fruit, spice and tannins on the palate. The wine is somewhat reminiscent of the classics of the left bank in Bordeaux with a typical “New World” touch.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with game and barbecues.
Vinification
The Cabernet Sauvignon is aged for 14 months in French barriques (30% new barrels).
