About the wine
Schola Sarmenti, home to beautiful walls from the nineteenth century, stands vineyards with autochthonous grape varieties with vines up to 80 years old, which are skillfully and patiently tended. During the harvest, only the best grapes are selected, which were allowed to grow in an environment of respect and love for nature.
Tasting note
Rich ruby red color. On the nose, aromas of red fruits, balsamic nuances and spicy notes. The palate is velvety, complex, harmonious with delicate tannins and a long aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with lamb, beef, game and sweet and sour dishes.
Vinification
Fermentation in steel tanks then aging for approx. 14 months in French oak barrels and twelve months in bottle before sale.
