Secret Spot Wines: The new elite in the Douro Valley. The Douro is probably the most beautiful wine region in the world, with 45,000 hectares on the left and right of the river with steep terraces. The traditional buildings with high slate retaining walls are called Socolcos. Patamares the modern terraces without walls, where the rows of vines are planted vertically on a slope. More than 50 varieties grow here, which can be used for port wine and dry wines. We are deeply impressed and completely convinced of the quality of the wines.
