About the wine

Graceful landscapes in Levante give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Les Vins Bonhomme creates this red wine with refinement and experience. If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it is this dominant Shiraz 2020 — El Petit Bonhomme Jumilla DO. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This shiraz is ideal to serve with game or barbecue.

Tasting note
The Monastrell and Syrah were aged in French barriques, the Garnacha in American oak barrels. The nose shows aromas of dark berries, cherry compote and plums, clearly underlined with spicy notes of dried herbs, some pepper and dark chocolate. Juicy, drinkable on the palate, with fine tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Great with Spanish rice dishes, sausages and grilled or oven-baked meat, such as rabbit with herbs and olives or kids with potatoes and onions.
