About the wine
The nature of Valais can be described with words such as mountainous or hilly. However, the Swiss winery Château Constellation is trying to express the beauty of its homeland with this white wine. We think he succeeded! If you want to surprise a wine connoisseur, then with this dominant Chasselas 2018 — Fendant du Valais AOC! Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this chasselas with an aperitif or cheese platter.
Tasting note
Color: iridescent light gold, razor-fine gold reflections. Aroma: Typical, ripe and fruity bouquet of pears, linden and acacia flowers, fresh lemon note with a fine herbal touch. Body: Lively, sparkling first drink, delicate, well-integrated acidity, pleasantly creamy texture, slightly tart on the finish. Quality: An ideal, strong aperitif wine - the subtle tartness is appetizing and refreshing.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with aperitif, perch fillet, light starters, vegetarian dishes, cheese fondue and raclette.
