Tasting note
The clay and chalky soils, the low yields of the old vines and the aging in new barrels for 18 months give this “Grand Cru” its strong ruby red color and its beautiful density. On the nose, it is intense and complex with notes of blackberry, cassis and toasted aromas. A strong, velvety, sweet wine with elegant tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled meat, “butchery” and spicy cheese.
