About the wine

The “Gamla Sangiovese” refers to notes of raspberries, black cherries and dried violets with slight nuances of spices. The rounded tannin content and its fruitiness characterize the long aftertaste. This attractive Sangiovese with a medium body has a medium structure and a beautiful varietal character. The “Gamla Sangiovese” is made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes grown in vineyards on the cool northern Golan Heights. The wine is aged for 12 months in small French oak barrels. Although this soft and fruity-smelling red wine can be consumed immediately, it will still age elegantly for up to eight years. Enjoy the wine with spaghetti bolognese, grilled lamb ribs or with a cheese platter from your favorite places.
