Over 40 years ago, Torres began experimenting with new varieties that were previously untypical for Spain. The result was a Cabernet Sauvignon-Tempranillo cuvée, which aged longer in barriques. This was the birth of the Gran Coronas Reserva, which quickly became one of Torres' best wines. A dark cherry red in the glass. Intensely fruity of blueberries and blackberries with delicate spicy juniper notes and balsamic notes. Warm on the palate with velvety tannins, which are nicely rounded off when aged in barriques. A very successful reserve for little money!
