About the wine
This distinctive white wine 2016 — Grenache Blanc crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the American Halter Ranch winery in the sunny countryside of California masters this white wine. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a dining experience when you serve this grenache with spicy food or spicy dishes.
Tasting note
Reminiscent of wines from southern France - this Grenache Blanc has aromas of honey, melon and pear. Simply delicious in their own way. In order to be able to use the addition “Sur Lie”, the wines must mature in tanks or barrels for a winter and/or are still on their yeast at the time of bottling. The process accentuates bouquet, freshness and fineness and gives the wines a yeasty taste and delicate carbonic acid.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with hearty salads, ham & melon, sea fish and crustaceans.
Vinification
Fermented in French oak barrels and aged “Sur Lie” for eight months. This wine has no biological acid degradation.
