About the wine
The 25-hectare Jamek Winery is located in Joching in the Austrian wine-growing region of Wachau. The founding father Josef Jamek is considered a pioneer in Wachau viticulture. He was sometimes responsible for the exceptionally good reputation, for premium white wines from Austria. The winery is currently managed by the 3rd generation of Herwig Jamek and the tradition continues. 85% of the production is white wine, with a total of 225,000 bottles being filled annually. The steep slopes are mainly planted with Grüner Veltliner and Rheinriesling on over a hundred stone terraces.

Tasting note
Light yellow-green. Inviting aromas of white apple fruit, a touch of fresh pear underlaid with notes of meadow herbs. Long finish.
