Dark ruby red — the nose shows fruity notes of red berries and cherries as well as spicy and herbal tones typical of Sangiovese. The palate is dominated by fresh berry notes, which are emphasized by aging in steel and concrete tanks and are not adulterated by wood notes. With its velvety, mature character, the Merlot contributes to a pleasant mouthfeel. This wine embodies the basis of the Badia di Morrona range and in this vintage is made up of 85% Sangiovese and 15% Merlot.
