The winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodega Contador grows this wine in the countryside. You will certainly have a lot of fun with the fine La Vina de Andres Romeo Rioja DOCa, which was produced in 2007.

Tasting note
The nose shows mineral notes of wet stone and gravel, as well as cedar wood and vanilla. On the palate, notes of sweet tobacco and dried meat, leather and dried fruits are supported by structured tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with poultry, beef and veal.
Vinification
The wine fermented in a single 10,000-liter oak barrel with natural yeast and passed malolactic in barrels, followed by 19 months in brand-new French oak barrels. Only 4,000 bottles were produced.
