About the wine
Treat your guests at Christmas dinner with this strong white wine 2019 — Langhe DOC Chardonnay. With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Massolino masters this white wine in the fertile and blooming landscape of Piedmont. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Chardonnay with soft cheese or truffles.
Tasting note
Strong straw yellow, seductive notes of ripe fruit, and well-integrated minerality, which gives the wine a pleasant freshness. Warm, enveloping, mild and characterful on the palate with a long finish, an unmistakable structure of the Langhe terroir.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with marine fish and some freshwater fish, such as trout, as well as white and dark meat dishes that are braised for a long time and are delicately seasoned.
Vinification
Some of it is aged in barriques, then on the fermentation yeasts for 6 months before being refilled and continuing its aging in the bottle for 6 months.
