About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Azienda Vinicole Ceretto has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the picturesque and blooming landscape of Piedmont. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you serve this Cabernet Sauvignon with Gruyère Burger or Ribeye Steak.

Tasting note
Although a blend of the 3 major French varieties, the origin is unmistakable: slim and very structured, with the typical, slightly dusty tannin, beautiful, redberry fruit extract, balanced drinkability, long-lasting, elegance. The scent is also typical with some venison, leather, smoke, backed with a beautiful floral component.
Culinary recommendation
Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Goes well with Gruyère burgers, red meat and pizza with mushrooms. Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for red wine is a slightly chilled 15°-17°C. The ideal drinking period for this wine is in the following period: Now until 2018.
Vinification
Grown on heavy soil (loamy sand, pH 8). Separate fermentation of the individual varieties in 45 hl wooden barrels, aged for 14 months in 300 liter French oak barrels.
