About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this dominant Trebbiano 2018 — Lugana DOC Demesse Vecchie. The winemaker from the Italian winery Olivini has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the enchanting and fertile landscape of Lombardy. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Trebbiano with poultry or vegetable rice.
Tasting note
Straw yellow in color, scent of exotic fruits with a delicate scent of almonds and citrus fruits, long-lasting and delicate taste, supported by a good structure.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fish, poultry, aged cheeses.
Vinification
Late harvest of grapes. Alcoholic and complete malolactic fermentation, aging on fine yeast (10% in barriques and 90% in steel tanks).
