About the wine
Founded in 1833 by Vincenzo Florio, Cantine Florio continues the Marsala tradition to this day. A fortified wine that is named after the Sicilian port city of the same name. The house is particularly known for its spiced Marsala variants. Like port wine or sherry, these are mixed with pure alcohol and are only produced by a few houses. www.duca.it

Tasting note
Amber On the nose, intense, complex aromas with notes of candied citrus and dried yellow stone fruit. In addition, distinctive spicy nuances. On the palate, a nice interplay between sweetness and acidity. Long-lasting aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with mature cheese or even a fresh avocado salad.
Vinification
Fermented in cement tanks, alcohol is then added and matures in barrique barrels for 14 years.
