Tasting note
Midi-Rouge is a cuvée made from the very best grapes from the plots of the Terre Blanche, Schistes and Les Crès vineyards. Aged in demi-muids, double barriques. These ensure gentle expansion without dominating the character of the wine. Consistent bio-dynamic methods and the relative remoteness from other conventional winemakers show success today, Steiner Rüedel would be very happy. Midi-Rouge is one of the best in the region, even the AOC guardians have had to recognize this. The days when wine had to be sold as a table wine are definitely over. >2030
