Tasting note
Brilliant ruby red, aromas of very ripe, sweet fruits on the nose. The scent is reminiscent of slightly dried plums and a fine spiciness. The ripazzo is very round and juicy. It has a wonderful mouthfeel and a medium finish.
Vinification
The ripazzo was fermented a second time on an extremely well-structured mash. The aging took place in used French barriques.
