Old Pulteney comes from the northernmost distillery on mainland Scotland. The idyllic location of the distillery on the wild east coast gives the whiskey its special charm and unique aroma. Old Pulteney is known as “the Manzanilla of the North.” Whether this comes from Manzanilla sherry barrels or from the salty rough air in the northernmost part of Scotland is uncertain.
