About the wine
The provocative red wine 2015 — Papale Linea Oro Primitivo di Manduria DOP is the missing piece of the puzzle on your wine rack. The winemaker from the Italian winery Varvaglione has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the hallmarks of this red wine, which originates in the sunny and blooming landscape in Puglia. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this primitivo with Brasato or risotto.

Tasting note
Intense of ripe and dark fruits. Soft and velvety with a balanced structure and an aromatic, long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with barbecues including sea fish, strong pasta variations, risotto and mature cheeses from the cow and the goat.
Vinification
Vinification by maceration at a controlled temperature of 26°-28°C. After malolactic fermentation, refinement in French barrels and American barriques for at least 10 months.
