About the wine

The winemaker from the Italian winery Chistoph Tiefenbrunner has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the blooming and fertile landscape in South Tyrol. You will certainly enjoy the first-class Pinot Grigio Turmhof, which was produced in 2016.

Tasting note
Light yellow to sand-colored, this Pinot Grigio presents itself with a floral bouquet of herbs and ripe fruits such as pear, peach and melon. The aging in large wooden barrels is reflected in its round body and its elegant, creamy finish.
Vinification
75% are fermented in large wooden barrels and mature on the first lees for ten months under regular batonnage. After temperature-controlled fermentation, the remaining 25% are aged for ten months with biological acid degradation in tonneau barrels.
