In 1440, Höngger vines from the Zweifel family were first mentioned in documents. In addition to the Klingen and Riedhof sites in Zurich, excellent grapes are brought to Höngg every autumn from his own vineyards in Regensberg, Otelfingen, Stäfa and Remigen AG as well as from friendly regional winegrowers, where city winemaker Urs Zweifel uses the latest know-how and cutting-edge technology and has made it one of the 100 best Swiss winemakers (Vinum).
