About the wine
Do you already know the provocative red wine Primitivo Salento IGT Selezione Sud with the vintage 2016? If not, it's time! Sunny and fertile landscapes in Puglia give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Baroncelli conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Primitivo with spicy hard cheese or brasato.
Tasting note
A full-bodied, smooth garnet red wine with some violet reflections. Intense scents of blackberry, red currant and plum rise to the nose, and pleasant vanilla aromas are added on the palate. A slight initial sweetness, a balanced structure and a long-lasting, long finish round off the treat.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with grilled or fried veal.
