About the wine
With the powerful Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 — Crianza Reserva Ribera del Duero DOCa, you can offer your guests something very special. The winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Carramimbre masters this red wine with sensitivity and intuition in the beautiful and graceful landscape of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon). The Flaschenpost team promises a dining experience when you serve this Cabernet Sauvignon with pizza with mushrooms or ribeye steak.
Tasting note
On the nose, intense and complex nose of cooked plums, juniper, cinnamon and spicy herbs. In addition to the black berry notes, there are hints of dried fruits such as figs. Blackberries, cassis and gingerbread again on the palate, strong middle with supportive tannins, plenty of substance until the long finale.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with hearty red meat dishes made from game, lamb and beef as well as aged cheese.
Vinification
Aged for 24 months in American (20%) and French (80%) barriques.
