With this provocative Merlot 2015 — Russo Poggio alle Vipere Toscana IGT, the term taste takes on a new meaning. The winemaker from the Italian winery Russo has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the lush and fertile Tuscan countryside. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you serve this Merlot with slightly spicy red meat or duck.

Tasting note
Rich ruby red, wild berries and cherries on the nose with elegant roasted aromas. On the palate, the revelation in all facets, lots of wild fruit, ripe and well-integrated wood, caramel and lots of Merlot melts.

20 months in new and used wooden barrels, then 18 months in bottle aging
