About the wine
The castle of Auvernier is one of the links between former and present size. As late as 1914, 400 bottles of Pinot noir Château d'Auvernier from 1911 were emptied on the occasion of the anniversary of the Prussian Guard. The current owner of the castle, Thierry Grosjean, is proactive and cosmopolitan, and his wines are also highly appreciated abroad.

Tasting note
Sauvignon Blanc expresses an intensely aromatic dimension, as well as a very pleasant freshness. Its exotic notes, refinement and liveliness make it the ideal accompaniment to fish, asparagus and Asian cuisine.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The organic white wine tastes best at slightly chilled 10°-12°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 2015 - 2017. Flaschenpost team is recommended for aperitifs, terrines and fish.
