About the wine

Weingut Heinrich is run as a family business and is located in Deutschkreutz, in the heart of the “Blaufränkisch-Land”. Founded 300 years ago, the family has only been bottling their own wines since 1992. In 2010, Silvia Heinrich took over the business, which she has been running together with her father Johann since 2002. Only our own grape material from the prime locations of the 36 hectares of vineyards, some of which are over 50 years old, is used. Silvia Heinrich's motto is less is more. A few selected grape varieties (75% Blaufränkisch, plus Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah), natural cultivation, hand harvesting, spontaneous fermentation. These are the ingredients that produce uncompromising quality in the bottle.
