Tasting note
A Sangiovese in its purest form. The nose reveals aromas of red and blue berries, cherry juice and ripe plums, accompanied by fine herbal spices, tobacco and subtle lilac notes. Showing a certain Brunello affinity on the palate, with a lot of pressure, present but well-integrated tannins, nice freshness and great length.
Culinary recommendation
Wonderful with various pasta dishes, grilled or stewed meat, such as a nice Bistecca Fiorentina or Ossobuco, also with wild fowl.
