Picturesque and sunny landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Marchesi Alfieri conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. With the fine Sostegno, which was produced in 2015, you will definitely enjoy it.

Tasting note
The Sostegno is a successful combination of Barbera and Pinot Nero. The scent is reminiscent of the red fruits of Barbera and melds with the spice of Pinot Nero. It is intense, but not heavyweight. Elegant and noble, as are the finely polished tannins for which Alfieris are known. The barrique subtly accompanies the fruit aromas and makes it a very drinky cuvée that is ideal as a sophisticated “Vino della Casa”!
