About the wine
With the dominant red wine 2016 — The Eleventh Hour Shiraz, you can offer your guests something very special. The winemaker from the Australian winery Massena has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the sunny and beautiful landscape in South Australia. Tasting note
Opulent, multi-layered nose. Clear, dark fruit with aromas of cherries and plums, supported by spicy notes such as licorice, pepper and roasted Indian spices. Strong on the palate with present but very crumbly tannins, which are supported by a pleasant acidity.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The red wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: The Eleventh Hour Shiraz goes well with barbecue, game and roasted vegetables.
