About the wine
What Markus Schneider has achieved in recent years is hard to believe. In 1994, he started from scratch, so to speak. And today, 22 years later, he and his team process over 92 hectares, fill around 800,000 bottles a year and is described by the German trade press as The Phenomenon and The Favourite of the Young Scene.
Tasting note
Aromas of black berries, dark chocolate and orange zest. On the palate, with a dense tannin structure, full of spice and dark fruit aromas. A juicy, mineral, elegant red wine with lots of palate pressure.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The red wine tastes best at slightly chilled 15°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 2016 - 2020. Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Goes perfectly with Gruyère burger, pizza with mushrooms and ribeye steak.
