About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Il Castellaccio has absolutely mastered his craft. Tasting note
Intense cardinal red, full and complex bouquet, aromas of spices, red berries such as blackberries and black johnnisberries. Balanced, with a pleasant acidity and elegant, robust tannins.
Culinary recommendation
An ideal accompaniment to classic Mediterranean cuisine.
Vinification
Aging for 12 months in 20 hectoliter barrels. Then aged in the bottle for at least 6 months. Certified organic from the 2020 vintage onwards.
