Tasting note
This Chianti Riserva of the highest DOCG quality is a milestone in the history of this famous wine-growing region. Since 1969, the grapes from the VIGNETI LA SELVANELLA vineyard have been vinified and aged separately. The bouquet unfolds a classically fine, balanced range of aromas that could not be more promising. This first sensory impression is confirmed by a stylish, structured, fruity and processed body on the palate. The finale is persistent and is exemplary in its originality and authenticity.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with game, cheese, risotto, roast veal, beef and roast pork.
Vinification
Aged for 24 months in traditional, large oak barrels, then aged in the bottle for a further three months.
