About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this dominant Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 Viró VdT. Enchanting and picturesque landscapes of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon) give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Rivola conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this Cabernet Sauvignon with ribeye steak or pizza with mushrooms.

Tasting note
A dark, dense burgundy red shines against us in the glass. The nose also promises something dense and reveals aromas of red berries, plums, plums, vanilla, cinnamon and a hint of roasted aromas such as caramel and toast. The opening is just as intense and has a wonderful fruit appearance with ripe but velvety tannins. This wine is very popular because it is super balanced and accessible.

Goes well with tapas, paella, veal stew, beef tenderloin, pork tenderloin, pork steak, grilled chicken
Vinification
Aged for eight months in barriques (French and American oak)
