About the product
The production of rum Zafra starts with high-quality sugar cane from Panama, which is harvested during the “Zafra” harvest from January to May. After distillation in a small column of fuel, the rum matures in bourbon barrels for 21 years.
Tasting note
On the nose, rich aromas of oak, raisins, toffee and vanilla develop, complemented by hints of fresh caramel. On the palate, it is balanced sweet and dry, with notes of pears, currants and dried apricots, rounded off by fine nuances of wood, nutmeg and bourbon vanilla.
