Rose di Alghero DOC
Bright rose red On the nose, fruity notes of sweet red berries and some spice. Fresh on the palate, with delicate fruit aromas of raspberries. Accompanied by an elegant and juicy acidity, with a fresh and persistent aftertaste.
Alghero is surrounded by the sea on three sides. Rosato is correspondingly fine with fish or shrimps.
After harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and left to mash for a few hours to achieve optimum color yield. Vinification and further aging take place in thermo-controlled stainless steel tanks.
