168 Dalian - Primitivo Cuvee
Dark ruby red with purple hues. Intense bouquet with aromas of ripe raspberries, cherries and light chocolate. On the palate, it is extremely fruity, berry and with a sweet start. The wine is full-bodied and round, with soft tannins and mild acidity. A wine that inspires many people straight away.
Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern:168 Dalian - Primitivo Cuvee goes well with risotto, pasta and red meat. Our recommendation: Drink this red wine at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 2-3 years after harvest.
A few words about vinification: The grapes are destemmed and mashed. The alcoholic fermentation and mash contact last about 15 days at temperatures of a maximum of 30°C. After gentle pressing, the wine is bottled in stainless steel tanks, where malolactic fermentation and further ageing take place for around 9 months. This cuvée was assembled from tanks 1, 6 and 8 by the Baur au LacVins tasting team.
