Amarone Classico DOCG
The Amarone Classico has an intense garnet red color. Expressive nose with hints of cherry, bitter almond, chocolate and cocoa. Very harmonious, soft and velvety on the palate. A full-bodied finish with a long-lasting aftertaste.
Flaschenpöstler tip: Amarone Classico DOCG goes well with game, roasts and hearty meat dishes.
After selective manual harvesting, the grapes are dried on wooden trellises under the roof for 3 months. After traditional mash fermentation, Amarone is aged both in large oak barrels and in barriques for 24 months, followed by 12 months of bottle aging.
