The base wine was aged 100% in oak barrels in the traditional Bollinger manner. Disgorges after seven years of aging on the bottle. The stylistic B stands for both Bollinger and the number 13 of the harvest year. On the nose, there are inviting aromas of red berries, sour cherries, vineyard peaches, yellow plums and citrus fruits, plus fine exoticism of banana and pineapple, supported by floral and nut notes, some honey, brioche and toast. On the palate, showing beautiful, invigorating freshness, a touch of grapefruit, rich in finesse and elegantly structured, yet complex, with a lemony-salty touch on the finish.
